The Hudson River Presbytery’s Immigration Partnership, which is administered by South Church, has received a $135,000 grant—$45,000 each year for three years—working with Proyecto Faro, a Hudson Valley-based immigrant-led organizing effort focused on building a community in which all people can live without fear or anxiety.
HRP Immigration Partnership’s specific role will be teaching congregations how to galvanize support and action among those who feel insecure due to their immigration status. The point person for the initiative is Robin Larkins, HRP Immigration Partnership Chair. Contact her to be part of this work.
