Needed: Angels, shepherds, (anyone who wants to sing) carolers, any children ages 10 and up with musical instrumental skills (with 2 years of private lessons on the instrument of their choice to play the selections we will use for a possible ensemble), Child or teen to draw the program cover, And I’ll be looking for a baby 2-4 months old in the leading role

As most of you know, our pageant is one of the highlights of the church year for us as well as the larger community. We welcome your extended families to participate as well. We have only 4 rehearsals to get it done and we need you to make it the miracle it becomes.
The pageant’s cast consists largely of the children of the church. Larger parts for children and teenagers are assigned by seniority and church involvement. Adult parts such as The Family and the Wise Ones are given out by interest, time and talent.
Children 4 and up are invited to participate. Parents of those 4 s are asked to stay for the rehearsals. Many children at 4 & 5 are not quite ready for the lights out and performing on stage, much less sitting through the rehearsals so before signing them up- no matter how cute they will look in that angel or shepherd costume- use your wise parental judgment in deciding if this is the year for them. Remember Christmas comes every year.

GREATLY NEEDED: adult pageant assistants for costumes and supervision of angels and shepherds as well as tech support for lighting and music.
With our limited number of rehearsals, it is most important that everyone be able to commit to joining us by November 16 and commit to all rehearsals.
Our schedule of sign-up and rehearsals is as follows:

Sunday, November 16 – During and after Church 11:45 – 1:00
Sunday, December 7– Pageant groups meet before Advent crafts/party begin.
Sunday, December 14– 11:45 – 1:00 In the sanctuary/A Walk-Through Whole script
Costume hand-outs & Pizza Lunch
Saturday, December 20 – 5-7 pm Dress Rehearsal In the sanctuary A MUST REHEARSAL –
Our plan is to be done by 7:00 PM hopefully sooner
Sunday, December 21 – Younger Pageant Participants Arrive at 4:00 PM for substance and meet in chapel. Older participants arrive at 4:30
Pageant begins promptly at 5:30PM – it runs about 30 minutes.
