This is to remind you that on Saturday coming (May 16th) the church school and their families will be meeting at 185 Stanley Avenue in Yonkers from 9 am to noon to begin the Groundwork gardening project that we've been discussing in church school classes. We'll be joined by CLUSTER's kids and some of their families as we do this work. Please make sure you wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and comfortable shoes or sneakers. If you have gardening gloves, please bring them along.

Would you please let the church office know whether you're coming so that we know how many folks from South Church will be attending this first workday? And if you're only able to come for part of the morning--yes, we're aware there's soccer, little league, and other Saturday morning activities going on-- would you please let us know that as well?

Also, please mark your calendars now for the other Saturdays that are part of this church school project: Saturday May 30th (beginning 10 am), Saturday June 20th, and Saturday June 27th. It's very important that we show our children what the Bible stories mean, not only with our minds and voices, but by doing work like this with our hearts, hands and feet.
