More than two dozen recent works of art by Harriet Cheney will be on view in The Donald Gallery from December 18 through January 14. Her works incorporate photography, painting, sewing, stuffing, embroidery, weaving, beading, and construction. Originally trained as a painter in the 1970s, Cheney has written music, poetry, and children’s fiction. After studying with mixed-media artist Ellen Alt, she returned to visual art, with a prodigious amount of productivity since 2013.
An opening reception will be held at the Gallery on December 18 from 11:30am until 1:00pm.
